UKTA grab the medals
The Airdrie United Kingdom Taekwondo Association are celebrating a huge medal haul at the Scottish Open Championships.
The students from the group made the short trip across North Lanarkshire to Ravenscraig for the competition and brought an impressive 23 medals back to Monklands.
The team earned third place in the UKTA overall schools event.
Anyone interested in joining this Airdrie team are more than welcome to come along
Classes are Monday and Thursday at the Glenmavis Community Centre for both kids and adults.
