Praising the very selfless efforts of cancer survivor Kirsteen and comic book king Mark
Inspirational Airdrie cancer survivor, and mum-of-three, Kirsteen Pearson took centre stage in front of hundreds at Show Scotland, Breast Cancer Care’s annual fashion event in Glasgow.
Kirsteen, 45, , who underwent extensive treatment for breast cancer, strutted her stuff on the catwalk to help collect a whopping £150,000 for the charity and her fabulous fundraising was warmly praised by the Advertiser’s Facebook community.
Brenda Fitzpatrick said: “Well done Kirsteen, you look amazing.”

Kirsteen’s husband William passed on his congratulations to his selfless other half: “Very proud of my wife Kirsteen. Superb.”

Also winning praise from our Facebook readers was Coatbridge comic book writer, and movie producer, Mark Millar for his plans to build 30 houses in Townhead, where he grew up.
The Kingsman creator has pledged to plough substantial investment into his native Townhead over the coming years after selling his company to Netflix.
