Time to give that special Christmas gift

-

The refurbishment work taking place at St Andrew’s Hospice is now 65 per cent complete.

The building is now wind and water tight and the construction of twentyone single rooms and three multi-occupancy rooms is underway.

The refurbished facility is on track to open in Spring 2018.

Karen McFadyen, Capital Appeal Director, said: “We are pleased with how our fundraising is going.

Thanks to the generosity of the people of Lanarkshire and the businesses that support us, we have now raised £5.6million of our £9million target.

We would not be able to make this happen without you all.

Karen added: “When it comes to Christmas shopping, we ask that people would consider giving the gift of a precious moment this festive season by making a donation to our Room by Room campaign.

“Our campaign is not just about bricks, mortar and equipment; it’s about helping to create precious moments between loved ones.

“The items on our shopping list will directly benefit our patients.”

You can make a donation to purchase an item by completing the Room by Room donation form at https://www. st-andrews- hospice. com/fundraising/capitalappeal/ by-room/.

Alternatively, you can contact the Capital Appeal team on 01236 772048.

“If your donation is in lieu of a Christmas gift for someone, we will send them a gift certificate to let them know, as well as send you a thank you letter for your donation.”
