This week’s plan­ning ap­pli­ca­tions for Mon­k­lands which have been sub­mit­ted to North La­nark­shire Coun­cil are as fol­lows –

North La­nark­shire Bio Power: al­ter­ations to ap­proved plans for en­ergy from easte (EfW) pro­cess­ing build­ing in­cor­po­rat­ing re­duc­tion in build­ing foot­print, changes to build­ing de­sign, in­crease in height of ven­ti­la­tion stack to 80m, in­crease in gross en­ergy out­put to 27MW, in­crease in through­put of waste fuel by 24,000 tonnes to 204,000 dry tonnes per an­num, and as­so­ci­ated ac­cess im­prove­ments to A8 junc­tion; at land at for­mer Shanks & McEwan site, 251 Glas­gow and Ed­in­burgh Road, Coat­bridge.

An­thony Mur­ray: pro­posed change of use of ground-floor shop to health/leisure use and cafe; and fas­cia sig­nage and win­dow vinyls; both at 42-46 South Bridge Street, Air­drie.

Wire­less In­fra­struc­ture Group: in­stal­la­tion of 25m com­mu­ni­ca­tions tower, an­ten­nas, ground-based ap­pa­raturs and an­cil­lary de­vel­op­ment (to re­place ex­ist­ing tem­po­rary tower); at site off Wood­hall Mill Road, Chapel­hall.

Mark Smith: two-storey side ex­ten­sion; at 7 Mei­gle Road, Cairn­hill.

Mr A McOwan: ex­ter­nal fab­ric re­pairs and frontage up­grade; at 93 Main Street, Coat­bridge.
