● GRAHAMSHILL STREET, AIRDRIE. Will close at midnight tonight until the same time this Sunday from Drumgelloch Street for 100m. Amey is carrying out carriageway resurfacing work on behalf of the council. Diversions will be in place on the A73 at Motherwell Street and the A89 at Forrest Street. ● BURNFOOT ROAD, WHINHALL. Mediumimpact works being carried out by the council are in place on the entire length of the road until next Tuesday. ● ETIVE DRIVE, AIRDRIE. Scottish Water is conducting mediumimpact works for the rest of the week; email customer. service@scottishwater. co.uk to find out further information. ● STEPHENS AVENUE, CALDERCRUIX. From Main Street for 55m is to shut for 24 hours from midnight on March 15 to allow Scottish Water to carry out work; no alternative routes are in place. ● SOUTH COMMONHEAD AVENUE, AIRDRIE. Carriageway patching works by Amey will see the road shut, from Mill Road, between midnight on April 4 and the same time on April 13. This will be in force when signposted and motorists can use Chapel Street, East High Street, North Bridge Street and Commonside Street as alternative routes. ● MOSS AVENUE, CALDERCRUIX. Between Eden View and Mill Street will be affected by a closure for 24 hours from midnight on March 22. Carriageway patching works will see the road shut when signposted and diversions in place on Moss Avenue and Elswick Drive. ● SUMMERHILL AND GARNGIBBOCK ROAD, AIRDRIE. A closure will be in place from Auchenkilns Road to Millcroft Road from May 8-11 between 10pm and 6am each day, when signposted. This is required for rail bridge works by Amco; diversions will be available via Chapelton Road, Myvot Road and the B802 at Condorrat Road. ● WOODSIDE STREET, COATBRIDGE. From its junction at A89 Bank Street to its junction with Allan Street, will close for two days at midnight on March 11. This is to“facilitate trial pit works”at the railway bridge by SP Energy Networks/Coneworx Ltd. ● GARTSHERRIE ROAD, COATBRIDGE. Low-impact works being administered by Virgin Media Group are ongoing outside property 121 until next Monday; call 0345 454 1111 for more details. ● MITCHELL STREET, COATBRIDGE. Maclay Civil Engineering Ltd is conducting carriageway resurfacing work from the road’s junction with Renfrew Street until Friday. The road will be shut during this period, with bus services also potentially being affected. ● VIEWFIELD ROAD, KIRKWOOD. From its junction with Dunnachie Drive to Dyke Street is to shut for carriageway resurfacing work until this Sunday. ● BUCHANAN STREET, COATBRIDGE. Will be shut from 10pm on March 22 until 6am the following morning for bridge maintenance works. The closure is from the road’s junction with Stobcross Street to its junction with Kirk Street. Pedestrian access will be maintained “at all times”, with vehicle access permitted“where practical”. Motorists can use diverted routes on Oxford Street, Henderson Street, the B753 at Dundyvan Road, Ross Street and the A89 at Bank Street. ● DEVERON STREET, COATBRIDGE. Maclay Civil Engineering Ltd will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works which will lead to the road, from Rannoch Avenue, being closed from 8am on Saturday until 8pm the following day. During the work, vehicles will be diverted via Tantallon Drive, Belmont Street and Crinan Crescent. ● CHURCH STREET, COATBRIDGE TOWN CENTRE. At the street’s number seven property will see low-impact work carried out from now until May 31.
