● STEPHENS AVENUE, CALDERCRUI­X. From Main Street for 55m is to shut for 24 hours from midnight tomorrow to allow Scottish Water to carry out work; no alternativ­e routes are in place. ● WHINHALL ROAD, AIRDRIE. The entire length of the road is being hit by medium-impact works by the council until next Tuesday; email roadworksc­ontrol@ northlan.gov.uk to find out more. ● BROOMPARK CRESCENT, AIRDRIE. Opposite property number 71 is subject to medium-impact work being carried out by Scottish Power for the rest of this week. General enquiries can be made by calling 0330 1010 444. ● SYCAMORE DRIVE, CRAIGNEUK. A series of low-impact works are ongoing outside property number 68 for the remainder of the week. Scottish Power will be on site until then and pedestrian access is still available. ● PETERSBURN PLACE, PETERSBURN. The whole street is having mediumimpa­ct works carried out by council staff until next Tuesday. ● SOUTH COMMONHEAD AVENUE, AIRDRIE. Carriagewa­y patching works by Amey will see the road shut, from Mill Road, between midnight on April 4 and the same time on April 13. This will be in force when signposted and motorists can use Chapel Street, East High Street, North Bridge Street and Commonside Street as alternativ­e routes. ● MOSS AVENUE, CALDERCRUI­X. Between Eden View and Mill Street will be affected by a closure for 24 hours from midnight on March 22. Carriagewa­y patching works will see the road shut when signposted and diversions in place on Moss Avenue and Elswick Drive. ● SUMMERHILL AND GARNGIBBOC­K ROAD, AIRDRIE. A closure will be in place from Auchenkiln­s Road to Millcroft Road from May 8-11 between 10pm and 6am each day, when signposted. This is required for rail bridge works by Amco; diversions will be available via Chapelton Road, Myvot Road and the B802 at Condorrat Road. ● DYKEHEAD ROAD, AIRDRIE. Pole replacemen­t works being conducted by BT will result in the road being closed from Ballochney Road to Dalmacoult­er Road. The closure will be in place for 24 hours from midnight on May 17, when signposted. Alternativ­e routes for motorists will run on Airdriehil­l Street and the A73 Stirling Road. ● GILMOUR PLACE, GARTSHERRI­E. Mediumimpa­ct works outside property number five are due for completion next week. The work is being initiated by the organisati­on SGN and further details are available by emailing customer@ sgn.co.uk ● BUCHANAN STREET, COATBRIDGE. Will be shut from 10pm on March 22 until 6am the following morning for bridge maintenanc­e works. The closure is from the road’s junction with Stobcross Street to its junction with Kirk Street. Pedestrian access will be maintained “at all times”, with vehicle access permitted“where practical”. Motorists can use diverted routes on Oxford Street, Henderson Street, the B753 at Dundyvan Road, Ross Street and the A89 at Bank Street. ● WOODSIDE STREET, COATBRIDGE. Is to shut from its junction at A89 Bank Street to its junction with Allan Street from midnight on March 30 until the same time on April 15. SP Energy Networks and Coneworx Ltd are carrying out electrical utility works at the railway bridge, but pedestrian access will be “maintained at all times”. There will also be diversions on South Circular Road, Bank Street , Whifflet Street and School Street. ● CHURCH STREET, COATBRIDGE TOWN CENTRE. At the street’s number seven property will see low-impact work carried out from now until May 31.
