New St Andrew’s Church

will hold the following services over the Easter period – Sunday, 11am: Palm Sunday service; Thursday, March 29, 7.30pm: Maundy Thursday communion; Friday, March 30, 7.30pm: Good Friday service: Sunday, April 1, 11am: Easter Sunday service. All are welcome.

Treasure hunt and games

for children will take place at Hope Church next Saturday, March 31, from 3pm to 4.30pm. Free refreshments will be available for adults. The church’s Easter Services take place at 11am and 6.30pm, and all are welcome.

Yoga classes

Indoor bowling club

A three-bowl pairs league runs on Tuesdays from 2pm to 4pm; anyone who would like to join can call 01236 428641. A bounce game is held on Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm, open to members for £3 and non-members for £4.50. Shoes and bowls can be loaned at no extra cost. The club hosts organisations including: line dancing on Mondays from 7pm to 9pm, Coatbridge & Airdrie camera club on Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm, Slimming World on Wednesdays at 6.30pm, Black & White dance group each Thursday at 6.30pm, circle dancing every second Sunday between 2pm and 4pm. CAP job club

meets on Mondays from 12 noon until 2pm at Hope Church on Bank Street. Those looking for work are invited to attend for friendly, practical support in finding a job. Lunch is provided; places can be booked by calling 0800 328 0006.

Parent and toddler group

at Coatbridge Baptist Church’s is recruiting new members. It runs every Monday (except school holidays) from 9.30am to 11.45am at the church on West Canal Street.
