● RUSSELLCOLT STREET, COATBRIDGE. The road will be closed from Stewart Street to Gartsherrie Road until 6pm tonight to allow for carriageway patching works to take place. The diversion for motorists will be via Sunnyside Road and Gartsherrie Road; pedestrian access will be maintained throughout. ● DEVERON STREET, COATBRIDGE. From Rannoch Avenue to Tantallon Drive is closed until 8pm this Friday, when signposted. Carriageway resurfacing works are ongoing, but pedestrian access is available. Vehicles are being diverted via Belmont Street and Crinan Crescent. ● WOODSIDE STREET, COATBRIDGE. The road will shut from its junction with A89 Bank Street to its junction with Allan Street from midnight on Friday until the same time on April 15. SP Energy Networks and Coneworx Ltd are carrying out electrical utility works at the railway bridge, but pedestrian access will be“maintained at all times”. There will be diversions on South Circular Road, Bank Street, Whifflet Street and School Street. ● ST BOSWELLS DRIVE, CARNBROE. The full length of the road, on both sides, will see council-run medium-impact work until next Tuesday. ● CHURCH STREET, COATBRIDGE. Low-impact work is being carried out at the town centre street from now until May 31. ● SOUTH COMMONHEAD AVENUE, AIRDRIE. Carriageway patching works by Amey will see the road shut, from Mill Road, between midnight next Wednesday, April 4, and the same time on April 13. This will be in force when signposted and motorists can use Chapel Street, East High Street, North Bridge Street and Commonside Street as alternative routes. ● GLENBOIG ROAD, COATBRIDGE. The road will be shut from the B804 Johnston Road for 350m, from 8am to 6pm on Monday, April 9, for drainage works. All vehicles are to be prohibited except works traffic, but pedestrian access to the route will be maintained at all times. The diversion is via Johnston, Lochend and Drumcavel Roads. ● HOWLETNEST ROAD, AIRDRIE. Between Bankhead Avenue and Calderrigg Place closes at midnight on Friday until the same time on Tuesday for sewer connection works by Dalcon. ● THISTLE STREET, RAWYARDS. The whole street is shut until next Tuesday to allow council work to be carried out. ● WOODBURN AVENUE, CAIRNHILL. The council’s low-impact works will be in place on the ground adjacent to Woodburn Avenue over the next month. ● WILSON STREET, WHINHALL. Low-impact works by Scottish Power are underway outside property number 23 until next Wednesday, April 4. ● PETERSBURN ROAD, PETERSBURN. Due to ongoing work by the council, medium-impact works will affect the whole street over the next month; email roadworkscontrol@ northlan.gov.uk for further information. ● CALDERIGG PLACE, CRAIGNEUK. From Torrance Avenue to Bankhead Avenue will experience low-impact roadworks from today until Thursday, April 5. ● SUMMERHILL AND GARNGIBBOCK ROAD, AIRDRIE. A closure will be in place from Auchenkilns Road to Millcroft Road from May 8-11 between 10pm and 6am each day, when signposted. This is required for rail bridge works by Amco to take place; an alternative route for traffic will be available via Chapelton Road, Myvot Road and the B802 at Condorrat Road. ● DYKEHEAD ROAD, AIRDRIE. Pole replacement works by BT will result a closure, from Ballochney Road to Dalmacoulter Road. The closure will be in place for 24 hours from midnight on May 17, when signposted.
