‘Evil monster’ sent down for sex abuse
Mum of little girls tells of rage towards paedophile
An Airdrie-born paedophile, branded “the devil incarnate” by the mother of two young girls he abused, has been jailed.
Depraved Gordon Ramsay, 46, destroyed the sisters’ and another young girl’s childhoods, over an eightyear period.
Originally from Glenmavis, churchgoer Ramsay hid his sick perversions under a cloak of respectability.
The girls’ mum, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said: “My eight-year-old is so traumatised that she said she wants to kill herself.
“He’s an evil monster who has destroyed both of my girls’ innocence.
“Everyone thought he was a decent and respectable bloke.
“Now I know he was the complete opposite – to me, he is the devil incarnate. He’s ripped our family apart and robbed both girls of their childhood. It’s a complete nightmare that’s never going to leave them.”
Earlier this month, Ramsay was sentenced to four years for abusing the girls.
The devastated mum said she had no idea the abuse was taking place until her youngest girl confided in her.
She added: “I had come home from work and my daughter, who was seven at the time, said; ‘I don’t like it when he touches me there’.
“She showed me and my heart sank. I was in total shock and asked if it had ever happened before and she said several times.
“She said he had even touched her that morning while I was at work.
“When I found out, the rage just tore through me. I went into the kitchen and picked up a pair of scissors. If he had come through the door at that point, God only knows what would have happened.
“I’ve never felt anger like that. Just knowing he had touched my daughter made my blood boil.”
The woman took the girl to police, where she had to endure a painful did I think he was capable of something like this.
“He’s shown no remorse and has no idea of the damage he’s caused. Both my girls are struggling to cope.
“No mother wants to see her kids in pain and what he’s done is beyond sick.”
Greenock Sheriff Court heard Ramsay assaulted one child so brutally that she was in tears from the pain.
He abused the younger sister in October 2016. The elder sister was aged between seven and nine when he attacked her between June 2008 and November 2010.
From December 2010 to October 2013, he repeatedly sexually assaulted the third child; Ramsay committed the offences at various addresses in Greenock.
He initially denied he had abused the children, but later pled guilty.
The sisters’ mum was in court to see the pervert jailed and called his fouryear sentence an insult to the victims.
She added: “He looked at me in court and I could tell he was feeling sorry for himself. He’s incapable of remorse.
“As he was being led away in handcuffs, I looked at him and mouthed; ‘I hope you suffer every day of your life’.
“He will be out in a few years, yet my girls have to live with what he has done forever.
“It sickens me to think that he could do this to another family and that’s why I have chosen to speak out.
“I want every parent to look at the pictures of this pervert and never allow him near their children.
“He’s a dangerous man and I don’t think jail will change him one bit.”
