● YORK ROAD, CHAPELHALL. Crane works are taking place today for 24 hours. The section leading from the Biocity car park to the larger York Road junction will be closed during this time. ● MAVISBANK STREET, WHINHALL. Shut between Wilson Street and North Bridge Street for four days from today for carriageway patching. Alternative route in place on High Street. ● CHURCH STREET, COATBRIDGE. Low-impact work is being carried out until tomorrow. ● MOSS AVENUE, CALDERCRUIX. Closed for carriageway patching, between Eden View and Mill Street, for four days from today. Vehicles will be diverted via Elswick Drive. ● GLENGOWAN ROAD, CALDERCRUIX. Will close in early hours of tomorrow, for its whole length between Moss Avenue and Main Street. Drivers will be diverted via Elswick Drive until the road reopens late on Monday night. ● CALDER STREET, WHIFFLET. Will be closed for the day from 5am on Sunday between Whifflet Street and Garturk Street to allow for road marking works. Motorists will be diverted via Caldeen Road. ● KENNEDY DRIVE, WHINHALL. Will close between Craig Street and Martyn Street for five days beginning at midnight on Monday for carriageway resurfacing. The diversion is via Victoria Place. ● A89/A752 ROUNDABOUT, BARGEDDIE. Will close in stages for resurfacing during June weekends.The northern side will close from midnight next Saturday, June 9, until 6am on Monday June 11; the southern side will then close at the same times the following weekend, June 16-18. Nearby Gartcosh and Langmuir Roads will be resurfaced over the same period from June 23-25. The A89 will remain open at all times throughout. ● WOODSIDE STREET, KIRKWOOD. The junction with Old Monkland Road will be closed southwards for 20m from 9.30am to 3.30pm next Sunday, June 10, for ironwork repairs; therewillbealocaldiversion. ● GARTGILL ROAD, COATBRIDGE. A section from 740m northwest of Gartsherrie Road to 500m southeast of Wilton Street will shut between midnight on June 10 until the same time on October 6 for Network Rail bridge strengthening work. ● WHINHALL ROAD AND KIPPS BYRE ROAD, WHINHALL. Closed for five days from next Monday, June 11, from Ballochney Street to Coatbridge Road. Motorists will be diverted via Glenmavis Road during the verge maintenance. ● RANKIN CRESCENT, GREENGAIRS. Carriageway patching will take place for five days from Monday, June 18. No alternative routes are available. ● CAMERON ROAD, GREENGAIRS. Will be closed for 580m from its junction with Greengairs Road, for five days from midnight on Wednesday, June 20. ● COALBURN STREET, GREENGAIRS. The cul-de-sac will close for its whole length for five days from Wednesday, June 20, for carriageway patching. ● LOANHEAD ROAD, GREENGAIRS. Will close for carriageway patching, between Greengairs Road and Hulks Road, for five days from Thursday, June 21. A short local diversion will be in place. ● LAUREL GARDENS, GREENGAIRS. Patching work will take place in the cul-de-sac for five days from Thursday, June 21. ● MAIN STREET AND LONGRIGGEND ROAD, LONGRIGGEND. Will shut between Telegraph Road and Drumriggend Road on Friday, June 22. Patching work will take place for five days; diversion is Bridge Street, Roughrigg Farm Road and Greengairs Road. ● OLD BIGGAR ROAD, GREENGAIRS. Closed between Stirling Road and Greengairs Road for patching work for five days from Monday, June 25. Drivers will be diverted via the A73 and Blackbog Road.
