Quality excites Findlay
Airdrie boss Stephen Findlay is adamant the “quality” he has added to his squad will see the club perform more consistently in the coming season.
The Diamonds gaffer has added Leighton McIntosh and Grant Gallagher to the ranks as well as luring Darryl Duffy back to the Penny Cars stadium.
Promising youngsters Robbie Leighton, Grant Brennan, Lewis Gracie, Craig Truesdale and Scott Thompson have also penned deals with the club.
An excited Findlay told the Advertiser: “To be honest I just can’t wait to get back to training.
“I’m really pleased with the signings we’ve made so far.
“They’ve all got great quality and I’m convinced that will show next season.
“We’ve also got experience in our squad and the new boys are buying into what we want to do.
“They’ve all played at a higher level and I’m delighted to have them on board.
“I’m certain the quality they have will see us perform more consistently next season.
“I’m feeling positive about things at the moment and can’t wait for pre-season to start so we can begin putting our plans into practice.”
