● MARTYN STREET, CAIRNHILL. At its junction with Kennedy Drive to its junction with Victoria is facing medium-impact works by SGN over the next few months. ● MEADOWHEAD ROAD, PLAINS. Low-impact work by Scottish Power at the junction with Annieshill View is due to be completed over the next week. Closed between Stirling Road and Greengairs Road for patching work until Saturday. Drivers will be diverted via the A73 and Blackbog Road. ● BRACKENHIRST ROAD, AIRDRIE. A closure between the A73 Stirling Road and Cullochrig Road until Sunday. Morrison Utility Services is carrying out work when signposted. ● HENDERSON STREET, AIRDRIE. A 24-hour 82m eastwards closure will be in place from midnight on Sunday for carriageway patching works. There will be no alternative routes available. ● CARNBROE ROAD, COATBRIDGE. Is shutting for 24 hours from midnight on Saturday to allow for carriageway resurfacing work. This will affect the road’s junction with Bellvue Way, northwards for 175m, and alternative routes will be found on Paddock Street, Whifflet Street and Calder Street. ● WOODSIDE STREET, COATBRIDGE. Ironwork repairs will see the road shut, for 20m south of its junction with Old Monkland Road, from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Sunday. ● MITCHELL STREET, COATBRIDGE. From 370m north of its junction with Dunnachie Drive is closed until midnight on Saturday. This is for carriageway resurfacing work and bus routes may be affected. Alternative routes are in place on Craigend Drive, Renfrew Street and Dunnachie Drive; pedestrian access is still available. ● WEST CANAL STREET, COATBRIDGE. Will be affected by a closure from the Fountain roundabout on Sunnyside Road to Heritage Way from 9.30am tomorrow until midnight on Friday to enable carriageway resurfacing. ● OLD MONKLAND ROAD, COATBRIDGE. Bus services may be hit by a closure from the road’s junction with Kilmore Grove to its junction with Dunblane Place from midnight on Monday until the same time five days later. Carriageway resurfacing works will be completed and diversions in place on Woodside Street, Kirkshaws Road and Whifflet Street. ● TOWNHEAD ROAD, COATBRIDGE. Is shutting from Lochview Road to Leven Road from 8am on July 9 until 8pm four days later for carriageway resurfacing work. ● B804 COATBRIDGE ROAD, GLENBOIG. From the north kerbline of Glenboig New Road and its junction with Whitelaw Avenue is to close from 8am on Monday until 6pm next Friday, July 6, for carriageway resurfacing. Motorists can use diverted routes on the A752, B803 Sunnyside Road, Bank Street, Glasgow Road and Muirdyke Road. ● DEVERON STREET, COATBRIDGE. Carriageway resurfacing works will be in place between Rannoch Avenue and Tantallon Drive between 8am on July 16 and 8pm four days later. This closure applies when sign-posted and pedestrians will still be able to access the area. ● GREENPARK COURT, COATBRIDGE. Mediumimpact works being carried out by staff from Scottish Power will affect the road from Glasgow Road to its end over the next few months. ● GARTGILL ROAD, COATBRIDGE. At a point 740m north and west of the extended north kerbline of Gartsherrie Road to 500m south-east from the east kerbline of Wilton Street will be shut until October 6. Network Rail is carrying out “bridge strengthening” work and diversions will be in place throughout.
