● GIBB STREET, CHAPELHALL. Is shut until 3.30pm today from its junction with Loch Road to its junction with Crogal Crescent for manhole cover replacement work. Bus services may be affected and vehicles can use Burn Crescent and Cardell Crescent as diversions. ● WAVERLY DRIVE, AIRDRIE. Will close for a four day period from midnight on July 23 to allow for carriageway patching work. This will be in place from Bore Road to Wheatholm Street and diversions will be available on Kelvin Drive and Wheatholm Crescent. ● ROUGHRIGG FARM ROAD, LONGRIGGEND. Carriageway patching works will see the road shut between Bridge Street and the B803 Greengairs Road for four days from midnight on July 27. Drivers can use diversions on Upperton Road and Meadowfield Road. ● A810 AITCHISON STREET, AIRDRIE. Between Ralston Street and Davidson Street is closing for four days from midnight on July 30, when signposted, for carriageway resurfacing work. A wide range of alternative routes include Chapel Street, Aitken Street, Graham Street and Gartlea Road. ● RYDENMAINS ROAD, GLENMAVIS. Is to shut from the B802 Condorrat Road to McArthur Avenue from midnight on July 30 until the same time four days later. Carriageway resurfacing work will be completed, with diversions on Waddell Avenue and the B803 Coatbridge Road. ● MARTYN STREET, CAIRNHILL. At its junction with Kennedy Drive to its junction with Victoria is facing medium-impact works by SGN over the next month. ● HAGMILL ROAD, COATBRIDGE. Will be shut for 24 hours from midnight on Sunday from its junction with Dunottar Avenue to its junction with the A725 Whifflet Street for carriageway resurfacing. ● OLD MONKLAND ROAD, COATBRIDGE. Bus services may be hit by a closure from the road’s junction with Kilmore Grove to its junction with Dunblane Place until midnight on Saturday. Carriageway resurfacing works are being completed and diversions in place on Kirkshaws Road and Whifflet Street. ● TOWNHEAD ROAD, COATBRIDGE. Is shutting from Lochview Road to Leven Road from 8am on Monday until 8pm next Friday, July 6, for carriageway resurfacing. ● B804 COATBRIDGE ROAD, GLENBOIG. From the north kerbline of Glenboig New Road and its junction with Whitelaw Avenue is to close from 8am on Monday until 6pm next Friday, July 6, for carriageway resurfacing. Motorists can use diverted routes on the A752, B803 Sunnyside Road, Bank Street, Glasgow Road and Muirdyke Road. ● AGNEW AVENUE, COATBRIDGE. From 20m west of Lavelle Drive to Quarry Street is closing from 8am next Wednesday, July 11, to 8pm on July 15 for carriageway resurfacing. ● DEVERON STREET, COATBRIDGE. Carriageway resurfacing works will be in place between Rannoch Avenue and Tantallon Drive between 8am on July 16 and 8pm four days later. This closure applies when sign-posted and pedestrians will still be able to access the area. ● GREENPARK COURT, COATBRIDGE. Mediumimpact works being carried out by staff from Scottish Power will affect the road from Glasgow Road to its end over the next month. ● B804 MAIN STREET, GLENBOIG. Is shutting for a rail bridge inspection from its 80m north-west of its junction with Glenboig New Road from 10pm on August 30 to 6am the following day. ● GARTGILL ROAD, COATBRIDGE. At a point 740m north and west of the extended north kerbline of Gartsherrie Road to 500m south-east from the east kerbline of Wilton Street will be shut until October 6. Network Rail is carrying out “bridge strengthening” work.
