● A89 AIRDRIE ROAD, CALDERCRUIX. A four-day 30mph speed limit is in place until midnight on Saturday for carriageway resurfacing works. It runs between Eastfield Road and Woodside Road. ● CALDERBANK ROAD, AIRDRIE. Is shut until midnight tomorrow. Resurfacing being carried out between Ayr Drive and Sykeside Road; diversions are via Sikeside or Brownsburn. ● WADDELL STREET, AIRDRIE. Medium-impact works being carried out by the council are in place at the road’s junction with Frew Street for the rest of this week; visit www. northlanarkshire.gov.uk to find out more. ● GLENGOWAN ROAD, CALDERCRUIX. Is closed between Main Street and Moss Avenue for carriageway resurfacing until midnight on Friday; pedestrian access will be maintained. ● JOHNSTON STREET, AIRDRIE TOWN CENTRE. Council-run mediumimpact works outside property number 28 are due to begin tomorrow and expected to last for“three working days”. ● LEFROY STREET, COATBRIDGE. From its junction with Corsewall Street to its junction with Flloyd Street will be shut from 8am to 6pm on Friday. This is to allow for carriageway patching works and residential access “will be permitted, where practical”. Vehicles will be diverted via Carradale Street, Corsewall Street and Flloyd Street. ● BUCHANAN STREET, COATBRIDGE. A closure is in place until midnight on Saturday for resurfacing between Dundyvan Road and Manse Street. ● LAUCHOPE STREET, CHAPELHALL. Will close between Main Street and George Street for five days from midnight on Saturday for resurfacing. Bus services may be affected by the closure; the diversions in place are via Woodhall Street and Lancaster Avenue. ● COATHILL STREET, COATBRIDGE. From its junction with School Street to its junction with Meadow Street is shutting for a four day period from midnight on Monday. Carriageway and footway repairs are being carried out, but pedestrian access will be maintained throughout. Motorists can use diverted routes on Hospital Street and School Street. ● CARNBROE ROAD, COATBRIDGE. A 24-hour closure will affect its junction with Bellvue Way, 175m northwards, from midnight on August 25 for carriageway resurfacing work. ● MARTYN STREET, CAIRNHILL. Mediumimpact works are in place over the next few weeks between the junctions with Kennedy Drive and Victoria Place. ● GREENPARK COURT, COATBRIDGE. Mediumimpact works by Scottish Power will affect the road from Glasgow Road to its end over the next few weeks. ● MAIN STREET, GLENBOIG. Will shut for a rail bridge inspection overnight on August 30, from 10pm to 6am the following day. The closure will be 80m north-west of its junction with Glenboig New Road. ● BANK STREET, COATBRIDGE. Scottish Power is carrying out low-impact works opposite property number 193 over the next few weeks; email customer.care@ sppowersystems.com to find out further information. ● HAWKWOOD ROAD, GLENMAVIS. A closure lasting four days will be in place between the B803 Raebog Road and Crathie Drive from midnight on October 3. Carriageway resurfacing works are due to be carried out and the road will be shut when signposted. Alternative routes will be available on Irvine Street, Raebog Road and Crathie Drive. ● GARTGILL ROAD, COATBRIDGE. Is closed until October 6, between Gartsherrie Road and Wilton Street, for bridge strengthening work by Network Rail.
