Brogan slams Rovers

how we play, our personnel and hopefully it’ll be a lot better next week.”

Brogan confirmed he is set to bring in a Premiership player on loan in an attempt to improve the playing squad.

He continued:“We’ve got a guy coming in from St Mirren this week and we’re looking down that kind of avenue now.

“Boys have had their chance so we’re looking to bring in some loan players and hope that brings something to the team.”

Forward Ronan Kearney, who started the game in the capital, says the players are lacking in confidence.

He said:“This isn’t the way we wanted to start the season.

“Edinburgh City were better than us on the day so credit to them.

“We need to build ourselves back up for the game against Peterhead now this weekend.

“We’re lacking in confidence at the moment.

“Not having a goal to our name yet is a problem but once we get one goal it will set us up to go on and build on that.

“We’ve been working a lot on that in training.

“The gaffer has been working on possession with us and waves of attack to try and get us used to playing with each other in game situations.

“Hopefully we can take that into our game this weekend.”

Fellow attacker Jamie Watson said: “We’re disappointed so far but we’ll work hard at training to put things right.”
