● NAYLOR LANE, AIRDRIE. From Flowerhill Street to Johnston Street is closed until midnight on Friday to allow for carriageway patching works. Drivers can use diverted routes on Knox Street and Forsyth Street. ● B8039 STIRLING ROAD, AIRDRIE. Is shut from the B8039 Luggiebank Bypass to A73 Stirling Road until 3pm on Friday. This is for road marking works and alternate routes are on offer on Lenziemill Road and A73 Auchenkilns Road. ● BANKHEAD AVENUE, AIRDRIE. Between the B8058 Petersburn Road and Crowwood Drive is shut until midnight on Friday, when signposted, for the completion of carriageway resurfacing. Alternative routes are running on the B8058, A89 Forrest Street, Castle Road and Clarkston Drive. ● WHINHALL ROAD/KIPPS BYRE ROAD, AIRDRIE. Between Ballochney Street and the B803 Coatbridge Road is closed until midnight this Friday. This is for drainage works and motorists are being diverted via the B802 Glenmavis Road and Ballochney Street. ● MAIN STREET, GLENBOIG. Will shut for a rail bridge inspection overnight tomorrow, from 10pm to 6am on Friday. The closure will be 80m north-west of its junction with Glenboig New Road. ● PERTH AVENUE, AIRDRIE. From its junction with Ayr Drive will close for four days from midnight on Monday for carriageway resurfacing. Pedestrian access will be maintained but there are no alternative routes. ● BERWICK CRESCENT, AIRDRIE. Carriageway resurfacing will lead to the road being closed from its junction with Cromarty Road for a four-day period from midnight on Monday. ● LAXFORD PLACE, COATBRIDGE. Between Paddock Street and Strathmore Walk will close for four days from midnight on Monday for the completion of drainage works. ● MANSE AVENUE, COATBRIDGE. Amey Public Services will be carrying out four days of carriageway resurfacing work from the road’s junction with Woodside Street to its junction with Glebe Avenue from midnight on September 10. The road will be shut and diversions available on Viewfield Avenue and Glebe Avenue. ● ALLAN STREET, COATBRIDGE. East of its junction with Peel Place, for 160m, will be shut for a four-day period from midnight on September 12. Carriageway resurfacing is being carried out and alternative routes will be on Ramsay Place, Mitchell Street and Woodside Street. ● WOODSIDE DRIVE, CALDERBANK. Parking restrictions have been introduced between 9.30am and 7pm every day from now until 7pm on September 14. No waiting or loading can be done from the road’s junction with Crowwood Road westwards. This temporary restriction is required to “facilitate crane access works”. ● SCALLOWAY ROAD, GARTCOSH. From 20m north of Threave Place to 150m east of Craigmillar Place will shut from 9am to 4pm on September 19 for a manhole replacement. ● HAWKWOOD ROAD, GLENMAVIS. A closure lasting four days will be in place between the B803 Raebog Road and Crathie Drive from midnight on October 3. Carriageway resurfacing works are due to be carried out and the road will be shut when signposted. Alternative routes will be available on Irvine Street, Raebog Road and Crathie Drive. ● GARTGILL ROAD, COATBRIDGE. Is closed until October 6, between Gartsherrie Road and Wilton Street, for bridge strengthening work by Network Rail. ● DYKEHEAD ROAD, AIRDRIE. Telecoms work being conducted for a 24-hour period from midnight on October 10 will lead to the road being shut between Thrashbush Road and Thrashbush Quadrant.
