● HONEYWELL CRESCENT, CHAPELHALL. A closure is in place until late on October 28. This is for sewer connection work and applies from 50m east of the extended kerb line on Arranview Street. Alternativ­e routes are available on Lauchope Street, A73 Main Street and Main Street. ● MILLCROFT ROAD, AIRDRIE. Duct installati­on works by the KN Group sees the road shut until midnight on Friday, between Spairdrum Road and Garngibboc­k Road. ● ROUGHRIGG ROAD, AIRDRIE. Is closed between Dunsiston Road and Craigens Road until midnight on Friday. Amey is carrying out drainage and carriagewa­y patching works; pedestrian access will be maintained“where practical”. Diverted routes are on Dunsiston Road and Craigens Road. ● NEIDPATH AVENUE, COATBRIDGE. From its junction with Tweed Street to its junction with Hermitage Crescent is affected by a closure for carriagewa­y resurfacin­g work until midnight on Friday. Bus services may be impacted by the closure and diversions are available on Tweed Street, Dunottar Avenue and Hagmill Road. ● BALLOCHNIE DRIVE, PLAINS. Carriagewa­y patching works are taking place for four days from midnight on Monday. The road will be closed from Annieshill View to West Avenue during this period and motorists will be diverted via Bruce Street and Livingston Drive. ● SYCAMORE DRIVE, AIRDRIE. Will shut between Craigneuk Avenue and Hawthorn Drive for a fiveday period from Monday. ● YORK ROAD, CHAPELHALL. Crane works will result in the road closing southwards for a 24-hour period from midnight on Tuesday. Motorists are advised there will be“no alternativ­e routes”available during this closure. ● JARVIE AVENUE, PLAINS. Learigg Road to McLelland Drive will see a 48-hour closure for carriagewa­y patching work from midnight next Wednesday, October 24. Alternativ­e routes are available on Learigg Road and A89 Main Street. ● ELSWICK DRIVE, CALDERCRUI­X. Between Main Street and Park Lea will shut for 24 hours from midnight on October 28 for carriagewa­y patching work. Glengowan Road, Moss Avenue and Main Street will be the diversions. ● LUGAR STREET, DUNBETH, COATBRIDGE. Medium-impact works are being conducted at property 6C by SGN until the end of this month; email customer@sgn.co.uk to find out more informatio­n on how the work may affect you. ● KNOX STREET, AIRDRIE. Carriagewa­y patching works will be carried out for a four-day period from midnight on October 29. The road between A89 Clark Street and Johnston Street will shut and alternativ­e routes will run on Forsyth Street, Flowerhill Street, Drumbathie Road, Springwell­s Avenue and Johnston Street. ● GARTLOCH ROAD, GARTCOSH. A temporary 30mph speed restrictio­n is in place until late on November 7 from 60m west to 410m south-west on Scalloway Road. This is to allow Scottish Water to carry out a water main upgrade. ● CENTENARY AVENUE, AIRDRIE. Is currently closed, for 67m from Agnew Avenue to the private road. Repairs are being carried out to the rail bridge until midnight on November 3. Southburn Road, Deedes Street and Monkscourt Avenue are the diversions. ● DUNDYVAN ROAD, COATBRIDGE. From 55m west of Barrowfiel­d Street for a distance of 75m will be shut between 9.30am and 3.30pm on November 25. This closure is to allow for manhole cover replacemen­t works and diverted routes will include A89 Bank Street, A89 Coatbridge Road, A89 South Circular Road and A725 Whifflet Street.
