● CENTENARY AVENUE, AIRDRIE. Work on the railway bridge has now been completed, resulting in the road between Agnew Avenue and the Centenary Avenue private road being re-opened for motorists. ● TUMMEL DRIVE, AIRDRIE. SGN is carrying out medium-impact works at property number 33 for the rest of this week. ● CLARK STREET, AIRDRIE. Outside the Masonic hall will see high-impact work conducted by Scottish Power throughout the remainder of this week. ● DUNKELD PLACE, KIRKSHAWS. Is closed for drainage works. There are no diversions for the cul-de-sac but vehicle access will be permitted where possible. The road, leading to Dunblane Place, is scheduled to reopen late this Friday night. ● SYCAMORE DRIVE, CRAIGNEUK. Scottish Power’s low-impact works outside property number five are ongoing for the rest of this week; email customer.care@ sppowersys­tems.com for further informatio­n on how the works could impact on you. ● ROCHSOLLOC­H ROAD, AIRDRIE. Gas main renewal works will see the road shut from midnight on Saturday until late on the following Sunday, November 25. This closure will be in place from 59m south of A89 Deedes Street to 20m south of Kippen Street. Vehicles can use roads including Weavers Road, Gartlea Road, Hogg Street, B802 Cairnhill Road and Victoria Place as diverted routes. ● MOLLINSBUR­N ROAD, ANNATHILL. Will close for five days from 8am on Monday. The closure is from Birkenshaw Road to the North Medrox farm access, 240m south of Myvot Road. Patching work will be carried out, and the road is due to reopen at 6pm on Friday, November 23. Residentia­l access is to be permitted where practical, and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times throughout the closure. The diversion for motorists is via Myvot, Condorrat and Gain & Shankburn Roads. ● MAIN STREET, CHRYSTON. At the junction with Gartferry is shut for the rest of the week for work being carried out by North Lanarkshir­e Council; email roadworksc­ontrol@ northlan.gov.uk to find out further details. ● STATION ROAD, CALDERCRUI­X. Openreach is carrying out mediumimpa­ct works at the road’s junction with Main Street over the course of the next week. ● TANTALLON DRIVE, TOWNHEAD. Will close for drainage work between Belmont Street and Deveron Street. The closure runs from 9.30am on Monday until 6pm next Friday, November 23. The diversion for drivers is via Crinan Crescent; residentia­l access will be allowed when practical, and pedestrian access maintained at all times during the closure. ● CONDORRAT ROAD, GLENMAVIS. Will be closed for patching from 8am next Thursday, November 22, to 6pm the following day. The closure is between its junctions with Myvot Road and Wester Myvot Road, and the diversion for motorists is via those two streets. Residentia­l access will be allowed where practical. ● DUNDYVAN ROAD, COATBRIDGE. Will shut from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Sunday, November 25, for manhole cover replacemen­t work. The affected section is from 55m west of Barrowfiel­d Street, for a distance of 75m; motorists can use Bank Street, Coatbridge Road and Whifflet Street as alternativ­e routes. ● CUMBERNAUL­D ROAD, MUIRHEAD. Ongoing medium-impact roadworks being carried out by Scottish Water are due to run for the rest of the year at the entrance to Bedlay Estate, off the A80 at Moodiesbur­n. ● A89 COATBRIDGE ROAD TO GLASGOW ROAD, BARGEDDIE. Right-turn restrictio­ns are in place until late on December 21 due to ongoing sewer connection works. The restrictio­ns are only in effect when signage is displayed.
