Carriageway patching and drainage works will result in the road's closure, from Summerhill and Garngibbock Road to Mollinsburn Road, from midnight on Monday until late next Friday, February 22. From its junction with A80 Cumbernauld Road and its junction with A752 Cumbernauld Road will be closed for carriageway patching works from 9.30am next Thursday, February 21, and 6pm the following day. Pedestrian access will be“maintained at all times”. ● MOLLINSBURN ROAD, GLENBOIG. To 65m north-west of its junction with Glenboig New Road will be shut until late next Friday, February 22. Scottish Gas is conducting repair work and motorists are advised to use Gain Road and Yetts Hole Road as diversions. ● COATBRIDGE ROAD, GLENBOIG. Mediumimpact works by company SGN, from the railway bridge to outside property number 94, are due to be completed over the next few weeks; go online at www.sgn.co.uk for further details. ● PERRAN GARDENS, MOODIESBURN. The full length of the road is closing for long-term work being carried out by the council; email roadworkscontrol@ northlan.gov.uk to find out further information on the work. ● MAIN STREET, GLENBOIG. Gas main replacement works by SGN will see the road closed between 1am tomorrow and midnight on March 15. Vehicles can use Gartcosh Road, Gartliston Road, Coatbridge Road, Johnston Road and A89 Coatbridge Road as alternative routes. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure. ● CUMBERNAULD ROAD, MUIRHEAD. Long-term medium-impact works by Scottish Water are ongoing at the entrance to Bedlay Estate, off the A80. The work is expected to run over the next couple of months.
