● CROSSHILL STREET, COATBRIDGE. Is shut until 5pm today for the completion of carriageway patching works. The temporary closure is to a point 200m from Aitkenhead Avenue. Diverted routes are on Dunnachie Drive, Kenmuir Street and Horslet Street. ● BELL STREET, AIRDRIE. The road is closed, between A8010 Aitchison Street and West Kirk Street, until Friday for carriageway patching works. Pedestrians can still access the road, while drivers can take Sword Street, A8010 Aitchison Street and West Kirk Street as diversions. ● GARTGILL ROAD, COATBRIDGE. Temporary restrictions are in place until Friday which mean motorists cannot use the road from 430m south-east of Wilton Street to Gartsherrie Road. Alternative routes include Lomond Road and Gartsherrie Road. ● WOODSIDE STREET, AT OLD MONKLAND ROAD, COATBRIDGE. From the south side of the junction of Woodside Street to 159 Old Monkland Road will close between 8am and midnight on September 15 for manhole repair works. Diversions, when signposted, will be on Kirkshaws Road, A725 Whifflet Street and School Street. ● CLARK STREET, AIRDRIE. Scottish Gas’high-impact works outside properties one-to-87 are expected to be completed within the next couple of weeks. ● ALEXANDER STREET, COATBRIDGE. Scottish Power’s low-impact works 50m east of Dunbeth Road will last for the majority of this month. ● VICTORIA CRESCENT, CAIRNHILL. There are low-impact works by Scottish Power about to get underway outside property 50 which should be finished by the end of this month. ● BANK STREET, COATBRIDGE. An inspection of the rail bridge will result in a 10-hour closure between Blairhill Street and A89 Main Street from October 2. This will apply from 10pm to 8am and motorists will be diverted via Sunnyside Road, Blair Road and Gartsherrie Road. ● LONGRIGGEND ROAD, AIRDRIE. To 50m southwest of the Lodge Cottage at the boundary with Falkirk will close from 10pm on October 3 until 5am the following morning. This is to allow for the completion of work by Scottish Water and alternative routes will include Binniehill Road, B8022 Station and Slamannan roads, B825 Caldercruix Road and Telegraph Road. ● SHARP AVENUE, COATBRIDGE. Will shut for four days of carriageway resurfacing works from midnight on October 14. This will be between its junction with Mitchell Street to its junction with Renfrew Street; bus routes may be affected by the closure. ● BELL STREET, AIRDRIE. Waiting and loading restrictions, from Wesley Street to A89 Alexander Street, will be in place on November 15; this is due to planned manhole works by BT. ● FORREST STREET, CLARKSTON. Long-term high-impact works by Scottish Gas outside property 48 at the junction with Connor Street are due to get underway soon. It is anticipated the work will run for a few months. ● VARNSDORF WAY, PETERSBURN. At its junction with Petersburn Road will see mediumimpact works by Scottish Gas running for most of the rest of the year; email customer@sgn.co.uk to find out more.
