● WOODSIDE STREET, AT OLD MONKLAND ROAD, COATBRIDGE. From the south side of the junction of Woodside Street to 159 Old Monkland Road will close from 8am to midnight on Sunday for manhole repair works. Diversions will be Kirkshaws Road, Whifflet Street and School Street. ● GREENGAIRS ROAD. Will close from 7pm to 7am for five overnights from Monday for road marking. It is shut from Loanhead Road to the Falkirk boundary; another route is via Plains and Caldercruix. ● CLARK STREET, AIRDRIE. Scottish Gas’high-impact works outside 1 to 87 are expected to be completed within the next week. ● STIRLING STREET, AIRDRIE. Is closed eastbound until September 25, between Weavers’Road and Wellwynd, for Scottish Power emergency works. The diversion is Broomknoll Street. ● KELSO QUADRANT, BLAIRHILL. Will be closed between properties 72 and 90 for five days from September 30 for electrical installation work. ● VICTORIA CRESCENT, CAIRNHILL. Low-impact works by Scottish Power should be finished by the end of this month. ● ALEXANDER STREET, COATBRIDGE. Scottish Power’s low-impact works last for most of this month. ● WILTON STREET, TOWNHEAD. Will be closed between property 18 and Trent Street for five days from October 1 for BT cabling works. Drivers can use Thornton and Selby streets. ● BANK STREET, COATBRIDGE. Rail bridge inspection will result in a closure between Blairhill Street and Main Street on October 2, from 10pm to 8am. Motorists will be diverted via Sunnyside Road, Blair Road and Gartsherrie Road. ● LONGRIGGEND ROAD, AIRDRIE. Will close from 10pm on October 3 until 5am the next day, to 50m south-west of the Lodge Cottage at the Falkirk boundary, for Scottish Water work. Alternative routes will include Binniehill Road, Station and Slamannan Roads, Caldercruix Road and Telegraph Road. ● PERRAN GARDENS, MOODIESBURN. Will close for resurfacing from Penzance Way to its north termination, between 9.30am on October 3 and 6pm on October 7. No diversions are available. ● MUIRYHALL STREET, COATBRIDGE. Is to close for resurfacing from 9.30am on October 7 to 6pm on October 11 between Dunbeth Road and St John Street. Diversions are Crichton Street, Sunnyside Road, Weir Street and Albert Street. ● ST JOHN STREET, COATBRIDGE. Will close for resurfacing from 9.30am on October 7 to 6pm on October 11, from Muiryhall Street to its south end. ● SHARP AVENUE, COATBRIDGE. Will shut for four days of resurfacing from midnight on October 14, between Mitchell Street and Renfrew Street. Bus routes may be affected. ● BELL STREET, AIRDRIE. Waiting and loading restrictions, from Wesley Street to Alexander Street, will be in place for BT manhole works on November 15. ● FORREST STREET, CLARKSTON. High-impact works by Scottish Gas, at the junction with Connor Street, are due to begin soon and are expected to run for a few months. ● VARNSDORF WAY, PETERSBURN. At its junction with Petersburn Road will see mediumimpact works by Scottish Gas running for most of the rest of the year; email customer@sgn.co.uk
