It’s clear to see these colleagues f rom a Monklands opticians have a bright future ahead of them as they marked an impressive success.

Ewan Grieve and Laura Mullet of Specsavers in Airdrie and Coatbridge have qualified as – and been promoted to – partners across the local firm.

The pair have a combined 11 years of experience with Specsavers and will now lead the store teams alongside fellow directors Alison Grieve and Andrew McGonagle.

To qualify as a director with the firm, candidates need to complete a management course and the company’s own branded Pathway course.

Delighted Andrew McGonagle, store director at Specsavers Airdrie and Coatbridge, commented: “Ewan and Laura have been integral members of our team for some time now and I’m delighted that they have now qualified and been promoted to partners.

“They are both perfect examples of the career progressio­n opportunit­ies available from Specsavers as they both started as assistants and were steadily promoted to supervisor, manager and now directors.

“I’m sure, in their new roles, they will help us continue to deliver first class customer service in the communitie­s we operate.”

Laura added: “For me, becoming director is all about providing the best customer service for everyone across both towns and encouragin­g people to visit their local town centres and support high street businesses.

“It’s a new chapter for Ewan and I and I’m excited for what is to come.”
