● BANK STREET, COATBRIDGE. An inspection of the rail bridge will result in a closure between Blairhill Street and A89 Main Street until 8am tomorrow, with motorists diverted via Sunnyside Road, Blair Road and Gartsherrie Road. ● KELSO QUADRANT, COATBRIDGE. An electrical installation between properties 72 and 90 will see the road closed until late tomorrow; drivers are warned there will be no alternative route. ● LONGRIGGEND ROAD, AIRDRIE. To 50m southwest of the Lodge Cottage at the boundary with Falkirk will close from 10pm tomorrow until 5am on Friday. This is to allow for the completion of work by Scottish Water and alternative routes will include Binniehill Road, B8022 Station and Slamannan roads, B825 Caldercruix Road and Telegraph Road. ● PERRAN GARDENS, MOODIESBURN. Carriageway resurfacing will see the road closed, from its junction with Penzance Way to its northern termination, between 9.30am tomorrow and 6pm on Monday. No alternative routes will be available. ● WILTON STREET, COATBRIDGE. Between the junction of Trent Street to the“gable end”of property 18 is shut until late on Friday for cabling works by BT. Vehicles will be diverted via Trent, Thornby and Selby streets. ● MUIRYHALL STREET, COATBRIDGE. Is to close for carriageway resurfacing works from 9.30am on Monday to 6pm on October 11. This will be between Dunbeth Road and St John Street and diversions for motorists are Crichton Street, Sunnyside Road, Weir Street and Albert Street. ● ST JOHN STREET, COATBRIDGE. No diversions will be on offer when the road shuts from its junction with Muiryhall Street to its southern termination. The closure, for carriageway resurfacing works, will be in place from 9.30am on Monday to 6pm on October 11. ● SHARP AVENUE, COATBRIDGE. Will shut for four days of carriageway resurfacing works from midnight on October 14. This will be between its junction with Mitchell Street to its junction with Renfrew Street; bus routes may be affected by the closure. ● PORTLAND STREET, COATBRIDGE. Carriageway resurfacing work will lead to a closure from 9am on October 14 to 6pm on October 18. This will be from its junction with Kildonan Street to its junction with Dunbeth Avenue; alternative roads include Dunbeth Road and Laird Street. ● MOORCROFT DRIVE, AIRDRIE. Between properties one and 54 of Moorfield Crescent will shut for manhole works from 9.30am to 7pm on October 18. ● BELL STREET, AIRDRIE. Waiting and loading restrictions, from Wesley Street to A89 Alexander Street, will be in place on November 15; this is due to planned manhole works by BT. ● FORREST STREET, CLARKSTON. Long-term high-impact works by Scottish Gas outside property 48 at the junction with Connor Street are due to get underway soon. It is anticipated the work will run for a few months. ● VARNSDORF WAY, PETERSBURN. At its junction with Petersburn Road will see mediumimpact works by Scottish Gas running for most of the rest of the year; email customer@sgn.co.uk to find out more.
