Squad, he brings dark, twisted and hilarious comedy to East Kilbride.

Prepare to see Darren as you’ve never seen him before; dry, surreal and stripped back stand-up comedy.

Who knows what issues Connell will raise in his latest show, Abandon All Hope.

Guitarist Fraser John Lindsay and his Blues Incentive have become a welcome addition to the thriving Glasgow music scene with electrifying Australian-born singer Charlotte Marshall and many other great performers.

Over the last three years Fraser has performed live at Paisley Arts Centre with some of the best and hardest working musicians on the Scottish live music scene, showcasing his band’s unique blend of blues, rock n roll and jazz influences with plenty of improvisation.

The band have recently launched their latest album of their 2017 concert at Paisley Arts Centre.

Fraser will be in East Kilbride Arts Centre on October 18.

East Kilbride-born indie rocker Declan Welsh is set to release his debut album at the end of this month.

Declan Welsh and the Decadent West will release Cheaply Bought, Expensively Sold on October 18 before heading out on a tour of the UK.

2019 has been a monumental year for Declan and his band, gaining radio play and releasing singles throughout the year.

Their most recent single, How Does Your Love, has been doing the rounds online, racking up over 35,000 plays in just over a month.

The video for the track has also sparked conversation. It is a 17-minute short film starring comedian Paul McCole (Limmy’s Show, High Times) and was filmed in Downtown nightclub in East Kilbride.

The video, entitled Alan Las Vegas Presents: L. U.V, South Lanarkshire’s Premier Nightclub and Event Space, centres around Paul’s character (Alan Las Vegas) and his new nightclub.

Declan and his band have been on the Scottish circuit for a number of years now and have made quite a name for themselves.

And for fans wanting to hear Cheaply Bought, Expensively Sold before it is released, the band have organised a special club night to tie in with the album.

On Friday, fans should get themselves to The Amsterdam Bar in Glasgow for a special night of live music and DJs, as well as an early listen of the album.

The unique party is based around the music video for How Does Your Love and is based around Alan Las Vegas (Paul McCole) and his quest to get a new club in Glasgow.

Entry to Alan Las Vegas Presents: L.U.V at The Amsterdam Bar is free to anyone with a tour ticket or proof of pre-ordering the album.

With the new album also comes a massive UK tour, starting on October 31 and finishing up on November 19 in Dundee. On that run of shows the band will play dates all over the UK, from Inverness to Brighton.

A massive home town show at Glasgow’s St Luke’s and The Winged Ox will take place on November 15.

There are only 50 tickets left for the 500 capacity venue. A Facebook post by the band read: “Only about 50 tickets left for Glasgow and definitely going to sell oot before the night, so get oan it and hear our debut album start to finish plus some of our #greatesthits xx.”
