This week’s planning applications for Monklands which have been submitted to North Lanarkshire Council are as follows –

Ms Jan Clark: fascia sign (in retrospect); at 224 Main Street, Caldercruix.

Mr Mark Halsey: single-storey side extension; at 61 Cromarty Road, Cairnhill.

Mr Hugh Burns: single-storey rear extension (including partial demolition); at 106 Alexander Street.

Mr Kevin Hughes: substitution of house type on plot one; at Marcon Inchneuk Road, Glenboig.

North Lanarkshire Council enterprise and communities: major residential development – approximately 90 units including a semi-detached, terraced and cottage flats together with associated infrastructure works; at site at Dykehead Road in Airdrie.

FCC Environment (UK) Limited: Energy recovery centre with associated mechanical pre-treatment facility, incinerator bottom ash processing area, reorganisation of existing landfill infrastructure area, improvements to private access road and associated infrastructure including new internal access road, drainage infrastructure, lighting and landscaping (EIA development); at Greengairs landfill site, Meikle Drumgray Road, Greengairs.

Mr D Stewart: conversion of garage to form habitable room (retrospective); at 51 Rockcliffe Path, Chapelhall.

Mr Jim Boyle: conversion of garage to form habitable room; at 5 Dunellan Place, Moodiesburn.

Mr Brian Gillooly: single-storey rear extension with raised decking; at 417 Greengairs Road, Greengairs.
