The wedding of Nicola Manson and Martin Doyle

The couple

Nicola Manson works as an employment co-ordinator with Enable Scotland and Martin Doyle is a roofer with a local firm; both are from Coatbridge.

When they met

Nicola and Martin were childhood sweetheart­s and met as teenagers at high school. The couple were married on the 16th anniversar­y of their first date.

The wedding

The ceremony was conducted by the Reverend David Ness at the Western House Hotel, Ayr, on July 22, followed with an intimate reception in the same venue; and was attended by 19 members of their family and friends who celebrated and danced the night away.

Attire

Nicola wore a beautiful Enzoani gown designed by Ann Priscilla Bridal, Glasgow, while Martin wore a blue suit from Ted Baker in Glasgow.

Honeymoon

The newlyweds spent their mini-moon at the Lodges at the Mains, Inverness, and are planning a trip to the picturesqu­e Caribbean island of Jamaica next year.

Bridal party

Nicola’s four flower girls were nieces Millie, Lacey, Steevie and Madison and Martin’s best man was his best friend Paul Watson.
