Runs on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at Greengairs parish church hall, from 12.30pm to 3pm. Tea, coffee and home baking are available.

Future entertainm­ent includes a Scots music evening on November 30, featuring the Jacobus entertainm­ent group; tickets cost £4 and are on sale now. Proceeds will be donated to the Sir William Wallace free miners’ branch. The next prize and money bingo event is on Friday, eyes down at 8.30pm. Bingo nights are held every Sunday at 8pm, with eyes down at 8.30pm. The Lucky Joker draw takes place at 8.20pm; tickets, priced £1, are on sale from the bar staff or committee. The children’s committee would like to thank everyone who helped to make the recent bonfire night such a huge success, with special thanks to Mainland van hire in Chapelhall who supplied the fireworks, and the SCC in Greengairs for their £200 donation. Organisers also give “a big thank you” to David Leckie and Rab Brown for building the bonfire and cleaning up afterwards, and to Rhona and Tracy who supplied the soup and for all the helpers on the night. The line dancing group based at the venue will run every Monday from 7pm to 9pm, with camera club on Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm, chair aerobics from 1pm to 2pm on Wednesdays, and Slimming World class at 6pm on Wednesdays, and 8.30am and 10.30am on Saturdays.
