Firm’s customers can help raise hospice funds

St Andrew’s Hospice is warmly toasting a new fundraising initiative which has been put in place by maintenance contractor Saltire.
The central heating and electrical services provider have announced that they will make a cash donation to the Airdrie charity for each new service and maintenance contract taken out.
Donations will be made monthly throughout the entirety of each contract, giving a regular income to the hospice.
Saltire will also be making a cash donation to St Andrew’s for every new boiler installation for customers who quote the promotional code “Donate” when contacting the Saltire team.
Managing director John Reynolds said: “The hospice is very close to our hearts; it’s essential that businesses like ourselves do what we can to help out.
“Working in partnership with the hospice will allow us to provide a steady income stream to support St
Andrew’s on a monthly basis.
“This is on top of the annual events and raffles we do to raise money for this superb establishment in the heart of our community.”
Depute provost Tom Castles, the Coatbridge councillor, joined staff from both Saltire and the hospice to celebrate the announcement of the valuable new fundraising partnership.
Louise O’Donnell, the hospice’s deputy head of fundraising, added: “Saltire have generously supported the hospice for a number of years and we’re delighted to be formalising our partnership with them.
“We can’t thank them enough for all their ongoing support to help provide care and comfort for our patients and their loved ones.”
