Murray: Goals have to come

Airdrie boss Ian Murray says they will work with their misfiring strikers after a goalless draw with Dumbarton.
The Diamonds have failed to score in their last four games after a trip the The Rock saw the title-chasers pick up just a point.
As they gear up to face Clyde this weekend, the gaffer says there will be a focus on sharp-shooting going into the clash with the Bully Wee.
He told the Advertiser:“It was an opportunity missed for us with Raith only taking a point.
“We controlled the game and probably deserved more than just a point but we didn’t have that cutting edge. We have probably been lacking that ovger the past few weeks.
“We can look at this quarter so far and say we have only lost one if you are looking at it positively, but on the other side of that we have only won one.
“We need to start winning these types of games and we look at the last three as crucial games to stay up there and challenge.
“The conditions were windy and wet but they were the same all over the country. We can’t use that as an excuse for not taking the chance to close the gap.“
He continued:“The goals have dried up a bit. We have not been clinical enough and not been good enough in front of goal when we have the chance.
“You can go through these spells where as a player you aren’t scoring, but you don’t lose the quality.
“We believe the players we have here are good enough to get that back.
“It is a concern but we will be working with our players this week to get back to the level we know they are capable of.”
After slipping up to their North Lanarkshire rivals in the previous clash, Murray knows Clyde will prove to be a tough test.
He added:“All the games against Clyde this season have been tough games.
“We lost the last one 3-1 but I don’t think that’s a fair reflection on how the game went.
“They have come up from the league below and proved to be a dangerous team.”
