The wedding of Aimee Louisa Mitchell and Blair Bingham

The couple

Aimee Louisa Mitchell works as a research scientist and Blair Bingham is a project engineer; both are from Coatbridge.

When they met

Aimee and Blair were introduced through Blair’s brother and sister-in-law Ross and Yvonne; they have been together for more than seven years.

The wedding

The ceremony and reception took place at The Vu in Bathgate on March 7, with a subtle Game of Thrones theme. The couple were joined by 132 members of their family and friends to celebrate.

Honeymoon

The newlyweds travelled back to the island of Lanzarote, where they spent their first holiday together.

Bridal party

Aimee’s maid of honour was sister Abbie, her bridesmaids were Blair’s step-sister Michaela, Aimee’s cousin Jemma and best friends Cara and Elli, and flower girls were the couple’s twins Lucy and Erin and nieces Willow and Robyn. Blair’s best man was his brother Ross.
