Renewable energy firm secures new partnerships

- IAN BUNTING

A Monklands renewable energy product innovator has secured strategic partnerships with two Scottish companies to ramp up its activity in helping businesses reach their carbon neutral goals.

Autonomous iot will work alongside Worksmart Contracts, the office fit-out and refurbishment specialists, as well as EMC Projects, experts in electrical, mechanical and communications projects.

The link-ups will enable Chapelhall based Autonomous iot to reach more businesses with green products including its carbon-reducing intelligent platform, which has already been purchased and installed throughout the UK by public sector housing authorities, councils and private sector companies.

John Irons, Autonomous iot’s key accounts director, told the Advertiser: “Everyone at Autonomous iot is thrilled to be working with Worksmart Contracts and EMC Projects as we further strengthen our portfolio of strategic partners”

“We have enjoyed a strong start to 2022 and these strategic partnerships will enable us to build on that, providing our customers with exceptional customer service, while assisting them in reaching their carbon neutral goals.

“Our intelligent platform continues to generate significant interest across sectors in Scotland, across the UK and further afield and working with like-minded partners will only help us realise our ambitions to grow, develop and continue to help companies meet their net zero targets.”

Autonomous iot CEO, Bobby Kane, added: “Building these partnerships helps accelerate our distribution plans that align with the company’s overall strategic direction and expansion goals.”

Autonomous iot, founded in 2019, is committed to tackling climate change through the research, development and manufacturing of environmentally conscious renewable energy products powered by the sun and wind.

Steve Neilson, managing director of Worksmart Contracts Ltd, said: “We are delighted to be forming a strategic partnership with Autonomous iot. It is brilliant to see a west of Scotland based organisation leading the way in sustainability and renewables.

“Their diverse range of products are suited to organisations who are looking to reduce their carbon footprint and can be easily adapted to multi-market sectors. I can’t wait to showcase this product to our clients.’’

Michael O’brien, managing director of EMC Projects Ltd, added: “We are pleased to be working in partnership with Autonomous iot.

“Their innovative and forward-thinking products are ideal for businesses who have the environment and staff welfare at the centre of their daily operations.

“We are very much looking forward to sharing the many benefits that this unique product will bring to our clients.’’
