Farnborough Cops, a Facebook page set up by the neighbourhood policing team, confirmed it was investigating multiple reports that have been made in recent days relating to attempts to “snatch children”. It confirmed that it was aware of three reports, though one was later confirmed to have been “made up by a child to trick his friend”. One of the incidents took place at the Co-op store in Fernhill Road, where two men are said to have attempted to access the boot of a vehicle when a child was in the Aldershot, let’s support our locals like never before.
