Arrests made as police disrupt drugs network in four counties
A TOTAL of 12 people were arrested in an operation to disrupt the supply of drugs across Hampshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
The operation was carried out across the four counties last Wednesday when around 100 police officers from Surrey Police and Sussex Police executed search warrants. Dramatic video footage shared to Surrey Police’s Twitter page showed the operation in action.
The search warrants were carried out in places such as Camberley, Chilworth, Fleet, Ash, Farnborough, Aldershot, Farnham, Gerrards Cross, Thatcham and Church Crookham.
Large quantities of drugs, money and offensive weapons were also seized by officers during the operation, Surrey Police has since confirmed.
Senior Investigating Officer, temporary Detective Inspector Lee Hazell, said last week: “Today’s operation makes our message clear, we will not tolerate drug dealing in Surrey. We will arrest those that decide to deal drugs in our communities.
“Our focus has always been on keeping Surrey safe, and our work today highlights that. If anyone has any information about suspected drug dealing in their area, please contact us.”
The arrests were made in response to an investigation into the supply of Class A and B drugs across Surrey.
The investigation began in June when four men were arrested and charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
They were Ryan Bambridge, 37, of Jessop Road in Stevenage; Sean Nelson, 29, of Nightjar Close in Farnborough; Beau West, 31, of Balmoral Road in Ash Vale; and Daniel Nelson, 32, of Fernhill Road in Cove.
