£1 million National Lottery win unclaimed in Rushmoor

-

EVERYONE knows when it comes to the lottery you need a bit of luck. With thousands, if not millions, of tickets sold for every single National Lottery draw, your chances of being successful are not great.

Those chances get even smaller when it comes to the EuroMillions, with people across the continent taking part in the draw. So imagine if you had been successful but for whatever reason had not yet claimed the prize? Well, 14 such cases exist in the UK. One unclaimed Lotto ticket and three Set For Life tickets are unclaimed, and an incredible ten EuroMillions winning tickets also remain unclaimed.

Of those, two winning

EuroMillions lottery tickets purchased in Hampshire remain unclaimed weeks after their respective draws. Staggeringly, both are worth £1million.

Back in March, one ticket bought in the New Forest for the EuroMillions draw, which was a UK Millionaire Maker ticket, is yet to be claimed. A draw at the end of April also produced a UK Millionaire Maker ticket.

That ticket was purchased in Rushmoor, home to Aldershot and Farnborough.

The National Lottery unclaimed prizes page lists the ticket numbers and information as to when prizes must be claimed by this year. For the New forest ticket, the prize must be claimed by September 21 and the

Rushmoor ticket prize must be claimed by October 26. Details regarding the New Forest ticket’s draw, held on April 23 (draw number 1514), can be found on the National Lottery website. The unclaimed Rushmoor ticket, for the April 29 draw (1524), contained the UK Millionaire Maker code HGHT14917.

The National Lottery website says: “The big prizes below have either not been claimed, or have not yet been validated and paid. We hope a lucky player comes forward in time but if a valid claim is not received within 180 days (around six months) of the draw date, the prize and any interest earned on it will go to benefit National Lottery Projects across the UK.”
