Mars thruster breaks records

The X3 thruster has broken several records during testing for the maximum power output, thrust and operating current. It generated 5.4 Newtons of thrust, beating the previous record of 3.3 Newtons. It could speed a Mars-bound craft at up to 40 kilometres per second.
