How to plant your seedlings
Water well with a can fitted with a fine rose, so the force of water doesn’t damage the young plants. AG rating: 7/10
1 Water the seedlings well to give their roots a soaking and make them easier to slide from their pots.
2 Carefully slip the plant from its pot into your hand, keeping as much soil attached to the rootball as possible.
3 Plant them as deep as their rootballs. Keep the plant steady by carefully holding a leaf, never the stem.
4 Tender seedlings are the slug and snail equivalent of a McDonald’s Happy Meal, so protect them.
