Camellia care

MY large camellia has provided a brilliant show of colour this year, but just because it’s finished flowering doesn’t mean I ignore it.

This is a good time to prune camellias to keep them looking tidy or within bounds, and to feed with iron sequestren­e, or similar feed, developed for ericaceous plants. This will keep plants healthy, preventing their foliage from turning yellow due to lack of iron.
