L. x americana The fragrant blooms of this hybrid between L.

caprifolium and L. etrusca show good colour. It thrived on the poor, sandy soil of our last garden. L. etrusca ‘Superba’ Slightly tender, semievergreen with fragrant creamy blooms tinged with red, ageing to yellow. It bucks the trend as it likes a warm, sunny wall.
