Amateur Gardening - - Your Letters -

AFTER 40 years in Poole, Dorset, AG has completed the move to Farnborough. Anyone who has ever moved house after such a long time will be able to sympathise with the huge amounts of accumulated books and other things carefully hoarded. The library was pared-down and 40 boxes of books were passed to local charities including Julia’s House, who sent this thank you:

“I wanted to write to thank you for your recent donation of books – your support in this way really does make a difference to children and families in your community. We rely on 94% funding from the local community – to help people who had never imagined they would need our support. Thank you so much for choosing Julia’s House and playing such a vital role in providing care and support to children and their families.

David Hutchings, Julia’s House Dorset and Wiltshire Children’s Hospital

Four charities, including Julia’s House, Age UK, PDSA and Pramacare will benefit from the gift of AG’s book library
