FEW American Straight Whiskey
FEW SPIRITS
Peggy
Nose: Fresh green apple and dried fruit. Coriander and licorice blossom, then clove. Warm biscuits with honey drizzle and sweet bread note of the yeast.
Palate: Full bodied with even spice. Attractive wood sugar and oak. Stone fruit and honeyrich with heat.
Finish: Long and attractive spice finish that is anything but shy.
Comments: Assertive and elegant; this whiskey would make a great date night pour.

Susan
Nose: Ripe apples with white pepper, caraway and caramel. Fruity and herbal. I suspect there’s a plurality of rye.
Palate: Caraway continues to assert itself with some book leather. Apples are joined by light caramel and sweet oak. A rich mouthfeel.
Finish: Pepper, herbs and mint before it dries to oaky tannins with lingering apple peel.
Comments: Nicely balanced and different. Not for every day, but an enjoyable “change of pace” from your favorite Bourbon or rye.
