Nose: Loads of char and campfire smoke with oak framed nicely in the background. Some fresh evergreen and caramelized sugar with deep vanilla bean.
Palate: Warm honey and walnuts with continued vanilla and banana. Creamy chocolate.
Some sorghum and butterscotch.
Finish: Texturally pleasant and bold, but not overpowering. Pipe smoke and brown sugar.
Comments: For the drinker who loves the campfire smoke finish. 7.9

Nose: Barely roasted corn on the cob with darker corn nuts. Some allspice and very faint fruit, but corn absolutely dominates.
Palate: Palate is corn flakes sprinkled with sugar (Frosted Flakes). The fruit and sweet spice have retreated leaving behind a lot of pepper.
Finish: Quite a lot of peppery heat considering this whiskey's proof, which dominates the length of the dry finish.
Comments: A few drops of water sweeten the corn on the nose.
