Nose: Deep caramel and dark brown sugar with coconut accents. Soft clove with licorice streaks and fennel. Dark tea and crushed walnut. Crème brûlée topping.
Palate: Lovely rich oak and tannins. Sorghum and cinnamon loaf with dark currants. Plummy with tobacco and mascarpone notes.
Finish: Decadent dark chocolate that reappears with some white pepper.
Comments: Captures the spirit of a true Bourbon with its deep structure and truly fantastic complexity. 9.1

Nose: Rich caramel with vanilla cream, nutmeg, hazelnuts and poached pears.
Palate: The palate echoes with fruit salad, baking spices, brown sugar and nuts. Herbal notes also seem to add to the complexity.
Finish: The high proof contributes to a long finish with chocolate, sweet oak and pepper spice at the very end.
Comments: Add a little water for the flavors to present themselves. Make sure you don’t hurry this Bourbon.
