Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-bond Bourbon
HEAVEN HILL BRANDS
Peggy
Nose: Hazelnut, vanilla and pear are wildly apparent with some rich bing cherry. Toasty oak and leather wrap currants and soft spices.
Palate: Chocolate and smoked-tinged plum. Arresting barrel flavor peaks on the second sip and gives earthy depth.
Finish: Dry and peppery with a dramatic brown sugar finish that does not get out of bounds, but pleases.
Comments: Evolves gracefully and entices the palate for the very next sip. Elegantly dry.

Nose: Delicious rich caramel and milk chocolate with some dark cherries and a whisper of baking spices. Very appealing.
Palate: Chocolatecoated caramel dominates with some orchard fruit, white pepper and sweet oak.
Finish: Pepper and oak linger, accompanied by rich caramel.
Comments: Excellent example. Add a little water to open it up even more. A good whiskey to add to your cabinet. Would be a fine cocktail ingredient, too.
