FISHMARK FOR DERBYSHIRE CLUB

HOLME Brook Valley AC are the first angling club in Derbyshire to get FishMark accreditation, the Angling Trust’s scheme which rewards clubs that provide a safe, effective and friendly environment for young people.

Bill Howe and Mick Sheldon, who are behind the project, said: “We are grateful to Angling Trust officer James Roche for his help. In the end it was a great feeling of achievement and history in the making and we’d love to see as many youngsters and their parents and family as possible try fishing for free at our open days.”

Taster sessions run throughout the summer with all tackle and bait provided – you just need to turn up and have a go!
