ANGLING TRUST RIVERFEST QUALIFIER (SUN)

The Tyne can produce some stunning weights of dace but it wasn’t quite the case for this qualifier, although the scores were still good. Top and earning his final place was Steve Whitfield. The Bag ‘Em Baits man took 17-12-0 of dace on whip and maggot from Corbridge peg 28. Anthony Green was second with 16-8-0 of dace and chub from the Bywell section. Steve Lowther also qualified.
