IT’S been a great summer so far for Wayne Bartholomew, and after this win on the tidal Trent things show no signs of slowing down.
The Sheffield man picked up a medal in the European Feeder Challenge in May and then booked his place in the Feedermasters final with victory in this qualifier.

man drew peg 22 at Dunham and weighed in 15-15-0 of skimmers, perch and roach taken on groundbait feeder with chopped worm and caster tactics.
Second was Lincoln’s John Turner with 12-1-0. Joining Wayne in the final will be Tom Noton and Paul Hardy, who both won their zones. Result: 1 W Bartholomew, Champion Feed/Nu Fish, 15-15-0; 2 J Turner, Lincoln DAA, 12-1-0; 3 B Brown, 10-9-0; 4 H Whittle, Kamasan Starlets, 10-4-0. Qualifiers: T Noton, W Bartholomew and P Hardy.
