IT’S been a great sum­mer so far for Wayne Bartholomew, and af­ter this win on the tidal Trent things show no signs of slow­ing down.

The Sh­effield man picked up a medal in the Euro­pean Feeder Chal­lenge in May and then booked his place in the Feedermasters fi­nal with vic­tory in this qual­i­fier.

man drew peg 22 at Dunham and weighed in 15-15-0 of skim­mers, perch and roach taken on ground­bait feeder with chopped worm and caster tac­tics.

Sec­ond was Lin­coln’s John Turner with 12-1-0. Join­ing Wayne in the fi­nal will be Tom No­ton and Paul Hardy, who both won their zones. Re­sult: 1 W Bartholomew, Cham­pion Feed/Nu Fish, 15-15-0; 2 J Turner, Lin­coln DAA, 12-1-0; 3 B Brown, 10-9-0; 4 H Whit­tle, Ka­masan Star­lets, 10-4-0.
