STEVE Ringer won this match at a canter as the Feeder World Champs silver medallist weighed in a massive 144-5-0 of big bream to finish over 80lb clear of Steve Cooke.
Drawing peg 58 on Gunwade Lake, Steve took fish to 9lb plus skimmers on groundbait feeder tactics with hair-rigged worm.
Steve Cooke, on peg 67 of the same lake, also fished feeder and worm to find bream to 7lb and take 57-13-0 to the scales.
Result: 1 S Ringer, Daiwa/Guru, 144-5-0; 2 S Cooke, Garbolino, 57-13-0; 3 M Davies, Steel City AC, 57-7-0; 4 C Singleton, Peterborough. 41-15-0.
