3 STEPS TO F1 HEAVEN

Bait-Tech’s Andy Neal has been putting the F1 groundbait to great use this season. Check out his tips to get the most out of this award-winning bait.

F1’s ingredients list boasts high-quality pellets, expanders, fishmeals and with a hint of sweet crumb to round off a perfect mix. A fine texture that appeals to all fish, this easy to mix bait is a must-try if you haven’t already. It’s the ultimate mix that carp, F1s and bream find irresistible.

1 SLOP

– A wonderful way of catching big weights in the height of summer. F1 mixed into a slop will cloud the water and be like a magnet for hungry F1s. They’ll rush into the fine cloud of strong flavour and look for the particles to eat. Often, your hook bait goes first. Shallow, summer and big weights. Perfect!

2 BALLING

IN – For laying a carpet, F1 is great. Skimmers and bream love the strong pellet-filled mix, so give it a go the next time you’re after skimmers. Fished with maggots, worms or pellets, this mix is fine, binds well and will carry any extra baits you need. An all-year-round commercial success.

3 LOOSE

– The ingredients list of F1 really packs attraction, meaning it’s great for attracting those big edge fish into your swim. I like to pot it loose where the fine ground pellets help it sink quickly and attract fish quickly. Fish two worms over the top and hold on for dear life!
