Afternoon delight for big Fen rudd

FISHING at the right time of the day can make all the difference when targeting big fish – and this was proved when Stephen Chesney banked three river rudd over the 2lb mark.

The Suffolk-based specialist grabbed a few hours in the afternoon on a river in the Fens and trotted breadflake on 4lb line. Two other rudd of 1lb 13oz completed his tally.
