ANGLING TRUST RIVERFEST QUALIFIER (SAT)

River Tees, Bowesfield (60 pegs) Weights were a little on the low side for this latest qualifier, which was topped by Daiwa Dons man Ian Exley with 13-5-0 of roach, perch and small skimmers from B section. There he opted to fish the long pole with maggot over groundbait. Second place went to Gary Watson in A section. The Mosella Selby man found skimmers on the feeder with worm and maggot for 13-1-0 and a place in the final. The first two anglers will be joined in the final by C section winner Eddie Bridon.
